Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is the final animated film in the Spider-Verse trilogy led by Miles Morales. It follows Miles after the events of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, when Miguel O'Hara's Spider Society treats him as a threat to the rules that connect Spider-people across different universes. Miles is separated from his friends and family and must find a way back while the consequences of his choices continue around them.

The story follows more than one version of Spider-Man. Miles's search connects to Gwen Stacy, Peter B. Parker, and other Spider-heroes whose lives are tied to the larger multiverse conflict. The previous film established that different worlds can have their own Spider-people, histories, art styles, and losses. Beyond the Spider-Verse continues that plot rather than resetting Miles's world or turning the trilogy into a separate anthology.

Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson direct the film. Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham wrote the screenplay, with Lord and Miller among the producers. Sony Pictures Animation is producing the movie for Sony Pictures, and the announced U.S. theatrical release date is June 18, 2027.
