Combat combines Chinese martial arts, deflection, Martial Arts abilities and new Insight Skills that can counter attacks, drive enemies into walls or slam airborne enemies to the ground. Open battlefields support flanking, base capture, traps and the recruitment of enemy generals. Character creation and multiplayer co-op are confirmed.

Wo Long 2 launches on March 4, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store. It is scheduled for day-one Xbox Game Pass availability. A limited Alpha Demo is playable on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through September 30, 2026.
