WheelMates

WheelMates is a two-player co-op driving, platforming, and puzzle adventure developed and published by Firevolt. Each player controls an RC car inside Professor Everett Bloom’s enormous house, using coordinated movement and gadgets to cross obstacles, open hidden routes, and uncover what happened to the missing scientist. The adventure supports online co-op and shared/split-screen play but has no solo mode or AI partner. A Friend’s Pass is planned alongside the Steam version so two players can complete the game with one purchased copy. Firevolt estimates about six hours for the main story and eight hours with secrets, mini-games, and extra exploration. WheelMates launches for PC through Steam on September 1, 2026 at 16:00 UTC for $19.99 before a 10% launch discount. PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions are planned for the first half of 2027; exact dates, cross-play, and cross-save policies remain unannounced.
