Titanfall 2 pairs a fast human-sized soldier, called a Pilot, with a powerful walking machine called a Titan. In its story campaign, rifleman Jack Cooper is stranded behind enemy lines and must work with Titan BT-7274. Their partnership gives the single-player story a clear route even if you never played the first Titanfall. The game also has online multiplayer, but you can play the campaign offline. It contains combat violence and rapid movement.

On foot, the Pilot can sprint, slide, double-jump and run along walls. Those moves are not just decoration: a gap or high ledge may be easier to cross by using a wall and keeping your speed. The opening training area teaches these basics before the campaign becomes dangerous. Once inside BT, movement feels heavier and you gain different weapons and abilities. In a fight, switch between cover and open space rather than standing still; on foot, a nearby wall can be an escape route, while a Titan can take a much more direct hit. Multiplayer introduces other Pilots, Titans, modes and loadouts, so a new player can learn the movement in the campaign before joining an online match.
Respawn Entertainment developed Titanfall 2, and Electronic Arts released it worldwide on October 28, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The original official poster shows BT with the game's native logo. The screenshots below are EA/Respawn game images of a Pilot moving through combat, BT beside Cooper, and Titan battles. This is the sequel to Titanfall, not a profile of the first game or Apex Legends.
