Sable

Helping residents introduces different ways of life, while puzzles and climbing give you reasons to look more closely at a ruin. There is no combat, so exploring a strange structure does not lead into a weapon upgrade routine or a boss fight. The challenge comes from finding a route, understanding a place and deciding where to go next.

Masks, outfits and hoverbike parts let you change how Sable and her ride look. Those choices sit inside the journey itself: meeting someone or finishing a task can give you another look to try. A fishing activity and the Vivarium also let you collect desert fish and insects between trips to new locations.

Shedworks developed Sable, with Raw Fury publishing it. The original PC and Xbox release was September 23, 2021; the PlayStation 5 edition followed on November 29, 2022. Choose it for a large place to explore, conversations with its residents and personal style. Its open structure suits players who enjoy choosing their own next stop, rather than following a tightly fixed sequence of levels.
