Resident Evil Code: Veronica continues Claire Redfield's search for her brother after the Raccoon City disaster. Her attempt to investigate Umbrella in Paris ends with her capture and transfer to Rockfort Island, where a biological outbreak turns the prison complex into the game's first survival-horror setting.

The campaign later moves to an Umbrella facility in Antarctica and brings Chris Redfield into the story. Capcom's official Resident Evil timeline identifies Claire, Chris, Steve Burnside, and Albert Wesker as the principal characters and connects the Rockfort Island incident to the wider Redfield and Wesker conflict.

This hub covers the original game released for Dreamcast in 2000 and the later console versions listed below. Capcom's 2027 remake is a separate game titled Resident Evil Veronica, so remake news and analysis belong to that dedicated hub rather than being presented as coverage of the original release.
