You see the station through Morgan's eyes. A locked door is not always a dead end: look for a keycard, a computer, a maintenance route or a way around. Search desks and rooms for supplies before rushing into a fight. Early on, the wrench works up close; the GLOO Cannon can stick an alien in place and can also make climbable steps on some walls. Neuromods let you choose abilities such as hacking, repair or lifting heavy objects. You do not need to pick a fixed class. Different choices open different routes, so the useful question is often 'what do I have right now?' rather than 'where is the single correct door?'

Bethesda released Prey on May 5, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Steam storefront may display May 4 in some regions because of its digital release time, but Bethesda's launch material names May 5.
