Ori and the Blind Forest follows Ori, a small forest spirit whose home is in danger after a devastating storm. The journey takes you through Nibel, a forest of glowing caves, tall trees and old ruins. You move across platforms, climb past hazards and follow paths that sometimes branch away from the obvious route. The scenery is not just a backdrop: gaps, walls and moving obstacles tell you which way Ori can travel right now.

As you progress, Ori gains abilities that make new routes possible. A ledge that is too high on your first visit may be reachable later, so you do not have to force every visible path immediately. Watch where Ori is standing before a jump, then look for the next safe platform and the hazard between them. The gallery below pairs broad views of Nibel with closer gameplay screens so you can recognise Ori, the layered side-on view, the HUD and different kinds of terrain. These are images of the original game; they are not instructions for a particular puzzle.
Moon Studios created Ori and the Blind Forest for Xbox One and PC. The first release was March 11, 2015. The later Definitive Edition added content and changes, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a separate sequel. This page covers the original 2015 game, so do not assume a route or ability shown in a Definitive Edition guide will match every screen in the first version.
