No Man’s Sky is an open-universe exploration and survival game from Hello Games. Players can move from a planet’s surface into space, discover procedurally generated worlds, gather resources, build bases, upgrade starships, follow storylines, and explore with other Travellers. The game launched in August 2016 and has grown through more than 40 major free updates. Its current version supports solo and multiplayer exploration, cross-play, cross-save, virtual reality on supported hardware, expeditions, settlement and base building, ship customization, and an expanding set of activities across its galaxy.
