Neon White is about finishing levels quickly. You play White, an assassin taken from Hell and made to compete against other demon slayers in Heaven. The places are bright and elegant, but the goal is intense: destroy each enemy and reach the end as fast as possible. Between levels, White talks with other Neons and tries to understand why they seem familiar.

The main tool is a Soul Card. Keep one to use its weapon, or discard it for a special movement action such as a jump, dash, or explosive boost. A card that helps you defeat one demon might be even more valuable as a shortcut. Levels are short enough to retry, and improving a time can reveal medals, new routes, and more story. It plays from a first-person view, but movement and planning are as important as shooting.
Angel Matrix developed Neon White, and Annapurna Interactive published it for PC and Nintendo Switch on June 16, 2022. Later console ports do not change that launch year. The official cover shows White and the other masked Neons with the authentic game logo.
