Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales follows a second Spider-Man as he grows into the role while Peter Parker is away. Miles has moved to Harlem with his mother and wants to protect his new community. A conflict between a technology company and a high-tech group puts that neighbourhood at risk. This is a standalone adventure: it helps to know the 2018 Marvel's Spider-Man game, but the story introduces Miles, his friends and his powers clearly enough for a new player to follow.

You travel across New York by swinging between buildings, running along walls and using fast travel after it becomes available. Battles mix punches, dodges, webs and two powers that make Miles different from Peter. His bio-electric Venom attacks can stun and damage enemies; camouflage helps him slip out of sight or reset a stealth encounter. Watch for the spider-sense warning around Miles before an incoming hit, then dodge rather than continuing a long combo. Between main missions, friendly-neighbourhood requests and collectibles give you reasons to explore Harlem and the rest of the city.
Insomniac Games developed Miles Morales and Sony Interactive Entertainment published the original PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions on November 12, 2020. A Windows PC version arrived later. This is not the 2018 Peter Parker game and not 2023's Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The cover here is official art for Miles's own game; its title and Spider-Man logo belong on a game profile, while guide hero images follow the site's separate no-overlay rule.
