Marvel Snap is an online card game featuring Marvel heroes and villains. A regular deck has 12 cards, and each match takes place across three locations with different effects. Players have a small number of turns to put cards where they think they can win. To take the match, you generally need more power than your opponent at two of the three locations, not the biggest number in just one place.

Cards have costs and abilities that can work together, while locations can change the plan you had before the match began. The signature Snap action raises the stakes of the result; you can also retreat when a match looks lost. This makes timing and reading your opponent important even though individual games are short. It is free to start, has in-app purchases, and needs an online connection. Cards, modes, and balance can change over time, so a fixed list of the strongest decks would quickly age.
Second Dinner created Marvel Snap and launched it globally on Android and iOS on October 18, 2022, with a PC early-access version. Steam's full PC release date of August 2023 is not the game's first launch. The official cover features Marvel characters surrounding the original Snap logo.
