Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Between battles, you walk through paths, collect coins, look for chests and solve simple environmental puzzles. A battle shifts to a small grid. Your team can move to a square, hide behind blocks, dash through an enemy, jump off a teammate to reach another place and fire a weapon. Different cover blocks protect better than others, and some can be destroyed. The goal shown on the screen matters: some maps ask you to defeat enemies, while others ask you to reach an area. If you are new, read the objective first, then look for a safe square before choosing a shot. The game also has separate local co-op challenges; the main story is built for one player.

Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft Paris developed the game with Nintendo's characters, and Ubisoft published it for Nintendo Switch on August 29, 2017. This is the first Mario + Rabbids game, not the later Sparks of Hope. The official Nintendo Switch cover can show its built-in logo.
