Kirby and the Forgotten Land takes the pink hero to a world filled with overgrown streets, malls, and amusement areas. The Beast Pack has captured Waddle Dees, so Kirby travels through 3D stages to find them. Each stage has a route to the end and smaller goals that reward careful exploration. It is a friendly place to begin if you have never played a Kirby game.

Kirby can inhale an enemy and copy its ability, turning a foe's power into a sword, fire attack, drill, or another tool. Mouthful Mode is different: he stretches around a large object, such as a car or vending machine, to use it in a silly new way. Rescued Waddle Dees help rebuild Waddle Dee Town, where you can improve Copy Abilities. A second player can join locally as Bandana Waddle Dee.
HAL Laboratory developed this Nintendo-published adventure for Nintendo Switch, released March 25, 2022. A later Switch 2 edition does not change the original release year. The official poster shows Kirby in the greenery-covered city with the authentic game logo.
