Kirby Air Riders is a vehicle-action game for Nintendo Switch 2. Choose a character such as Kirby or Meta Knight, then choose a flying or wheeled machine. Your machine moves forward by itself, so you do not hold an accelerator like you would in many kart racers. Press the Boost Charge button to slow down and steer through a bend; release it after the gauge fills to dash out of the turn. Different rider-and-machine pairs handle differently.

Air Ride is the straightforward race mode: reach the finish before the other riders. Top Ride puts the whole small track on screen from above. City Trial gives everyone five minutes to explore Skyah, collect power-ups and improve a machine before a final Stadium contest. Road Trip mixes the play styles into a single-player story. You can also attack rivals with Quick Spin, a rider’s Special and Copy Abilities taken from enemies.
The game launched on November 20, 2025. Nintendo lists one to four players on one system, two to eight over local wireless and up to 16 online. Online features require a Nintendo Switch Online membership. The official US rating is ESRB E10+ (Everyone 10+) for Fantasy Violence. This is a separate 2025 game, not Kirby Air Ride for GameCube and not an expansion for Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
