Kena: Scars of Kosmora is Ember Lab’s follow-up to Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Kena is now a more experienced Spirit Guide, travelling to the island of Kosmora to seek a cure for the illness she has lived with since childhood and reconnect with an old friend. A powerful force breaks her staff, so she must learn to use a forgotten form of Spirit Guiding based on the elements.

Elemental companions help her fight enemies, solve puzzles and travel across the island. Their abilities grow as her relationship with them develops. The canine spirit can carry Kena, assist in mounted and on-foot combat, and help with Alchemystic puzzles.
The adventure follows a linear story through larger regions, including ancient temples that work as dungeons. Players can explore Kosmora’s communities, uncover its past and fight the corruption threatening the island.
Ember Lab moved the release from 2026 to 2027 on October 1, 2026. No exact day has been announced. PS5 will have physical and digital editions; PC will be digital. The US PlayStation listing currently shows ESRB Rating Pending. Steam lists Ember Lab as developer and PlayStation Publishing LLC as the PC publisher; Sony Interactive Entertainment publishes the PS5 release. PC system requirements have not yet been announced.
