Hi-Fi Rush stars Chai, a would-be rock star whose music player becomes fused to his body during an experiment at the Vandelay corporation. The company decides he is a defective product, so Chai escapes with the help of new allies. You control Chai through fights and platforming sections while the world pulses to a steady beat. Attacking in time with the music gives moves more impact and helps build combos and scores. Enemies also signal many attacks with sound and movement, so listening and watching can help you dodge or counter them. You can keep playing if your timing is imperfect; the rhythm rewards practice rather than stopping the adventure whenever you miss one beat.
Tango Gameworks developed Hi-Fi Rush, which was announced and released on January 25, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Bethesda Softworks published the original release, while a PlayStation 5 version came later. The ficha uses the game's real cover art, with Chai, his allies, and the official Hi-Fi Rush logo.
