Gothic 1 Remake

Gothic 1 Remake is a modern rebuild of the 2001 open-world action RPG. Players control the Nameless Hero, a prisoner trapped inside the Valley of Mines, where three rival camps compete for power and every step outside their walls can lead to trouble. Alkimia Interactive rebuilt the game in Unreal Engine 5 with expanded quests, reactive NPC routines, new traversal abilities, and modernized tactical combat. Gothic 1 Remake launched June 5, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Photo Mode, Marvin Mode, a mod kit, and alternative progression mechanics are planned for post-launch updates.
