Fallout: New Vegas is an open-world action RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. After being shot and left for dead, the Courier crosses the Mojave Wasteland to recover a stolen package and becomes part of a larger conflict over Hoover Dam. The New California Republic, Caesar’s Legion, Mr. House, and an independent path compete for control. Reputation, faction armor, skill checks, companions, and branching quests give the player several ways to define the Courier and shape the ending. New Vegas builds on Fallout 3 with iron sights, weapon modifications, ammunition types, Damage Threshold, traits, and Hardcore Mode. The Ultimate Edition includes Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runners’ Arsenal.
