Expeditions: Samurai

Expeditions: Samurai is a historical tactical RPG set in an alternate version of Japan in 1600. Players lead a crew of European privateers through political conflict, tactical battles, exploration, stealth, and relationship-driven choices. The game supports single-player and two-player online drop-in and drop-out co-op. The Steam Early Access version launched on August 7, 2026, with several hours of fully voiced quests and most of the core gameplay systems. Campfire Cabal plans to expand the story, add village rulership, crafting, more equipment, deeper build customization, and further polish before the targeted Q1 2027 full release.
