Destiny 2

Destiny 2 casts players as Guardians, warriors who defend humanity and its allies across the Solar System and beyond. Story missions share space with cooperative strikes, raids, dungeons, competitive modes, and open destinations, while weapons, armor, subclasses, and abilities shape each character build. The same world supports several styles of play: following its science-fiction story, joining a fireteam for demanding encounters, competing against other Guardians, or refining a loadout through long-term progression. Bungie released the game in 2017 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The studio ended its planned live-service content updates in June 2026, but Destiny 2 and its existing activities remain available, with future maintenance focused on service stability rather than another scheduled content cycle.
