Cronos: Lazarus follows the Warden during his younger years, when he served the Collective as the Pathfinder. The story expands the history of one of the original game’s most recognizable figures while introducing a new enemy sent specifically to hunt him.

The expansion changes combat with teleportation, a decoy ability, an explosive use of Tracker Mode and the Gladius weapon. Bloober Team describes the action as faster and more aggressive than Cronos: The New Dawn, while keeping the monsters, heavy atmosphere and survival-horror pressure of the original.
Cronos: Lazarus is scheduled for fall 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Bloober Team has not announced an exact release date.
