Blighted follows a warrior crossing a psychedelic western nightmare while hunting the Memory Bandits. Drinkbox Studios describes the combat as a mix of fast arcade action and demanding, souls-inspired attacks, with dodges, parries, firearms, mana abilities and finishers.

The world is divided into large interconnected levels with secrets, permanent upgrades, bosses and routes that open after new abilities are learned. Memory Trees work as checkpoints, while Watcher’s Peak serves as a home camp where players can improve their character and receive help from people met during the journey.
The Blight system reacts to skillful play by changing enemy behavior, player abilities and parts of the environment. Blighted supports solo and cooperative play and is scheduled for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC in 2027.
