Amnesia: Memories follows a young woman who wakes up without knowing who she is or what her relationships used to be. A spirit called Orion helps her, but she still has to talk to the people around her without revealing how much she has forgotten. The mystery makes an ordinary conversation feel uncertain: someone may know her very well, while she has no idea what they expect from her.

Most of the game is reading conversations, looking at character art and choosing replies. Different character paths take the romance and mystery in different directions, and the choices you make can change the ending. Relationship parameters let you check things such as affection and trust. There are also rock-paper-scissors and air-hockey minigames, though the main reason to play is the story.
Choose it if you like getting to know a character while slowly working out what happened before the story began. The pretty art does not mean every relationship is safe or every outcome is happy. It is a better fit for someone who wants a romance mystery with difficult choices than for someone looking for a cheerful dating game with no danger.
