Kagurabachi follows Chihiro Rokuhira, the son of a famous swordsmith whose life changes after a violent attack takes his father and the enchanted blades he created. Chihiro sets out to recover the swords and pursue the people responsible, moving through a world where sorcery and organized groups shape the fight around him.
Takeru Hokazono’s manga mixes revenge drama, supernatural sword fights, and a small group of allies who keep the story from becoming only a straight line toward revenge. The anime adaptation is being produced by Cypic and is scheduled to begin broadcasting in April 2027.
Kagurabachi is a good fit for readers who want modern shonen action with a sharp visual identity, a focused central goal, and a world that can widen as Chihiro learns what his father’s blades really mean.
