Tom Cruise put on sunglasses and danced through the Spirit Tunnel for his first visit to The Jennifer Hudson Show. The show shared the backstage welcome on September 30, with staff lining both sides of the hallway, clapping and singing as he joined in.

Cruise starts near the end of the corridor, then makes his way through the crowd in a black shirt, black trousers and boots. Plenty of the people welcoming him wear sunglasses too. He turns back toward the group, keeps dancing and takes his glasses off near the studio doors.
Cruise’s first visit to the show
The September 30 episode was part of The Jennifer Hudson Show’s fifth season, which began on September 14. Cruise was there to promote Digger, directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu. The show’s official schedule lists Riz Ahmed, another member of the film’s cast, for the following day.

The Spirit Tunnel is the show’s backstage welcome before guests join Hudson on set. Its 93-second clip follows Cruise from the corridor to the studio doors, with the staff singing and applauding throughout.
The Jennifer Hudson Show airs on weekdays. U.S. stations and times vary by location; its official website has a local listings search, while the show’s YouTube channel carries clips from the visit.
