YAIBA: Samurai Legend

YAIBA: Samurai Legend is a television anime based on Gosho Aoyama’s manga. Yaiba Kurogane grows up training in the jungle before returning to Japan and living with the Mine family. His rivalry with Takeshi Onimaru leads both fighters to the Thunder God and Wind God swords and a series of supernatural battles. WIT Studio produces the series, with Takahiro Hasui directing, Touko Machida handling series composition and Yoshimichi Kameda serving as character designer and chief animation director. Minami Takayama voices Yaiba, Manaka Iwami voices Sayaka Mine and Yoshimasa Hosoya voices Onimaru. The anime premiered April 5, 2025. Season 2 begins the Kaguya Arc on January 9, 2027.
