The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me

The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me is a television anime based on Kazami Saruwatari’s light novels, also known in Japanese as Shiotaiou no Satou-san ga Ore ni dake Amai. Koharu Satou is admired at school but appears cold because she is shy and socially awkward. Souta Oshio discovers her real personality when she struggles to photograph sweets at cafe tutuji, the shop run by his father. Souta manages the cafe’s social media and helps her take better photos, bringing the two students closer while each hides a crush on the other. Miku Ito voices Koharu and Hiiro Ishibashi voices Souta. Fumihiro Yoshimura directs at Tezuka Productions, Takashi Aoshima handles series composition, Daisuke Okushima designs the characters and Shun Narita composes the music. The anime begins airing in Japan on October 6, 2026. Masayoshi Oishi performs the opening “Sugar Salt,” and HoneyWorks with Sara Hoshikawa performs the ending “First Love Reply.”
