Fran and Teacher continue their journey toward Dars in Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2. They discover a floating island and meet Jean Duvie, a necromancer seeking to clear the dungeon there. Undead monsters and a Lich threaten the expedition. Fran still hopes to evolve beyond the limits placed on her Black Cat tribe. Ai Kakuma voices Fran, Shinichirō Miki voices Teacher, Yūma Uchida voices Jean and Shō Hayami voices the Lich. C2C animates the season, directed by Shinji Ishihira with series writing by Takahiro Nagano. The official Japanese schedule lists early exclusive ABEMA streaming from September 30 at 24:30 JST. In everyday calendar terms, that is October 1 at 12:30 a.m. in Japan. Tokyo MX starts October 7 at 24:00 JST, effectively October 8 at midnight.
