Red River is the first television anime adaptation of Chie Shinohara's historical fantasy manga. It follows Yuri Suzuki, a modern Japanese teenager transported to the Hittite Empire, where she becomes involved with Prince Kail and the political struggle around the royal court. Tatsunoko Production handles the animation, and the 2026 television run is planned for 24 episodes across two cours.
