Overview

Yuki Uehara is a high school student who dreams of becoming a manga artist. An editor says the romance in his story does not feel real, and Yuki considers giving up. His classmate Niina Miyamoto sees his manuscript and tells him that she wants to make manga too. She proposes a fake relationship so they can learn more about dating and use that experience in their stories. Ayumu Murase voices Yuki and Sayumi Suzushiro voices Niina. Shunsuke Ishikawa directs the anime, Deko Akao writes the series scripts, Hiromi Nakagawa designs the characters, and ROLL2 handles animation. The series is based on the manga by writer Kyu Takahata and artist Yuwji Kaba. It is scheduled to air in Japan in January 2027. An exact date and international streaming service have not been announced.
