Mission: Yozakura Family

Mission: Yozakura Family is an action-comedy anime based on Hitsuji Gondaira’s manga. Taiyo Asano lost his family in an accident and relies on his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura, only to discover that she belongs to a gifted spy family. To survive her overprotective brother Kyoichiro and keep Mutsumi safe, Taiyo marries her and becomes part of the household. The story balances family comedy with espionage and battles as Taiyo trains beside Futaba, Shinzo, Shion, Kengo and Nanao. Season 2 pushes the conflict toward Mutsumi’s father, Momo Yozakura, with Koichi Yamadera joining the official Japanese cast in the role. The anime first premiered on April 7, 2024. Season 2 Cour 1 ran for 12 episodes from April 12 through June 28, 2026. Cour 2 begins in Japan on October 11 at 5:00 p.m. JST on the MBS/TBS 28-station network. Its international streaming service, worldwide release time and episode count remain unannounced.
