Overview

Mera x Death is a new Monster Strike anime set in Ouma, a town with a mysterious sphere called the Glass Sun hanging above it. Six years earlier, a huge explosion hit the town, but no one died. Mera Kagari is a quiet teenager who lives at a restaurant on the Tomisaka shopping street. On his sixteenth birthday, he meets a girl named Thirteen. Strange things begin happening around them. Mera cares about other people even though he often expects the worst; Thirteen is mysterious and likes spicy food. Their voice actors have not been announced. The series begins January 5, 2027, on TOKYO MX, with nine more Japanese stations planned. Streaming is planned, but no service or international date has been named. Kenta Kushitani directs, Daisuke Daito writes the series scripts, Tadashi Sakazaki designs the characters, and Qzil.la and studio keel animate.
