Liar Game is a TV anime based on Shinobu Kaitani’s manga. Nao Kanzaki receives a suitcase with 100 million yen and is forced into a contest where players try to outwit one another. She asks Shinichi Akiyama, a former con artist, for help. Madhouse animates the series. Yuzo Sato is chief director, Asami Kawano directs, and Tatsuhiko Urahata handles series composition and scripts. Saya Hitomi voices Nao, Takeo Otsuka voices Akiyama, Natsuki Hanae voices Yokoya and You Taichi voices Fukunaga in Japanese. Season 1 started in April 2026 and finished with Episode 26. Season 2 is officially in production, but no release date has been announced. Where to watch: The official anime site lists Crunchyroll for Season 1 worldwide outside Japan and China. It has not announced where Season 2 will stream. Availability and language options vary by country.
