From Far Away

From Far Away is a television anime based on Kyoko Hikawa’s 14-volume fantasy manga. Noriko Tachiki is pulled from modern Japan into a world whose language she cannot understand, where the wandering warrior Izark Kia Tarj rescues her from immediate danger. An ancient prophecy says Noriko may awaken a dark force hidden within Izark, turning their growing trust into a threat for everyone pursuing them. Noriyuki Abe directs the adaptation at Studio DEEN, with series composition by Rika Takasugi and character designs by Eiji Abiko. Hikawa supervises the scripts. Tomoyo Kurosawa voices Noriko and Kentaro Kumagai voices Izark, with Yuichiro Umehara, Eiji Takeuchi, Kimiko Saito, Tadashi Miyazawa, Taisuke Nakano, and Miku Ito in the announced supporting cast. The Japanese television premiere is October 4, 2026, on TOKYO MX, followed by AT-X, ABC TV, and WOWOW. The production has not announced an episode count or international streaming service, so a global simulcast platform remains unconfirmed.
