Firefly Wedding adapts Oreco Tachibana’s manga about Satoko Kirigaya, a seriously ill daughter of a prominent family. Satoko wants to marry well for her father’s sake, but she is abducted before that future is settled. She offers marriage to the assassin Shinpei Goto as a desperate way to stay alive. His immediate devotion turns the bargain into a volatile romance rather than a simple escape. Lynn voices Satoko and Koki Uchiyama voices Shinpei. Kento Ito voices Kotaro Ogawa, and Kenjiro Tsuda voices Saegusa. Takahiro Kamei directs at david production, with Yuko Kakihara on series scripts and Yukiko Aikei on character designs. TOOBOE performs the ending theme. The series starts October 9, 2026, on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block in Japan. Crunchyroll has announced a subtitled October 9 start for multiple territories, but has not given an exact streaming time or dub premiere date.
