Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! is a television anime based on Muchimaro’s romantic-comedy manga. Ume Mizunoe is a first-year student at Fujinari Academy who wins literature awards but struggles badly in science and mathematics. He joins the student council to improve his school record and finds a group of unusual classmates led by president Hisako Kotobuki. Shogo Sakata voices Ume, with Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako, Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku, Hiyori Kono as Tan Otori, Shizuka Ishigami as Arisu Terui and Yumi Uchiyama as Satomi Hiratsuka. Naoyuki Tatsuwa directs at Passione, Ryo Imamura handles character design and Masahiro Yokotani oversees the scripts. Sangatsu no Phantasia performs the opening theme and Nanao Akari performs the ending song “Pi.” Japanese broadcasts are listed for October 3 at 24:30, which is October 4 at 12:30 a.m. in standard clock time.
