Overview
DAN DA DAN begins with two classmates who disagree about the supernatural. Momo Ayase believes in ghosts but rejects aliens, while the occult-obsessed student she calls Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts. Their attempt to prove each other wrong sends them to a UFO hotspot and a haunted tunnel, where both discover that the other's belief is real. Momo awakens psychic abilities, and Okarun gains power through a curse. Their fights against spirits and extraterrestrial threats unfold alongside comedy, friendship, and a developing romance. Science SARU produces the anime from Yukinobu Tatsu's manga, with Fuga Yamashiro directing and Hiroshi Seko overseeing the scripts. The official site has announced a third season for 2027.
