Overview

Aoki Densho: Welsh & Shedar is a TV anime about two 16-year-old boys from very different homes. Welsh grows up in Broccoli Village and loves to cook. Shedar is the prince of Bonta and has been raised to become its ruler. Their meeting begins an adventure tied to the Dofus, powerful objects sought by people who want to control the world. Rikuya Yasuda voices Welsh and Yuki Kaji voices Shedar. Yuko Kaida voices Queen Zabel, Shedar’s mother and a ruler who holds five of the six Dofus. Makoto Furukawa voices Joris, a veteran guide who takes Welsh on the road. Risa Kageyama voices Béchamel, Welsh’s childhood friend who joins the adventure. Naoki Horiuchi directs the series, with animation by Studio MASSKET. The project connects Japan’s anime production with the French fantasy world of Dofus. The official website released a new main trailer and more cast information on September 24, 2026. The series starts on Tokyo MX in Japan on October 2 at 9:25 p.m. local time, with new episodes scheduled for Fridays. No international streaming service has been confirmed on the official site. The Tokyo MX broadcast should not be presented as worldwide streaming.
