Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Season 2 continues the romantic comedy about Alisa “Alya” Mikhailovna Kujou and her classmate Masachika Kuze. Alya sometimes speaks her true feelings in Russian because she believes Masachika cannot understand her, while he quietly understands more than she knows. After the student council events of the first season, Alya continues her campaign for president with Masachika supporting her. Their summer includes study sessions and a training camp at a seaside villa, bringing them closer while Masha keeps feelings of her own. Yuki, Ayano, Sayaka, Nonoa, Chisaki and Touya also return. Hiroshi Haraguchi directs Season 2, Seong-Min Kim serves as deputy director, Yuka Yamada handles series composition and Yuhei Murota designs the characters. Doga Kobo is again the animation studio. The anime is based on the light novels by Sunsunsun with illustrations by Momoco. Season 2 is scheduled to air in 2027 after moving from its earlier 2026 window. The month, exact premiere date, episode count, Japanese channels and international streaming service have not been announced.
