Sophia’s first days on Unicorn Island bring far more than riding lessons. Her unicorn, Wildstar, has light magic, but the two have to trust one another before they can work together. Grim magic threatens the island, and Sophia’s questions about her father make it hard for her to leave its mysteries alone. Her classmates bring very different strengths to the group. Ava is quick to make friends, Layla knows the theory but struggles in the saddle, and Isabel is already an experienced rider. Valentina wants to prove herself, while Rory would often rather play a prank than finish his work. Their unicorns have personalities of their own, so a talented rider does not automatically make a good partner. Produced by Spin Master Entertainment, the animated adaptation launched in 2023.
