The Perfect Lie

The Perfect Lie is a seven-episode Dutch drama based on Saskia Noort’s bestselling novel The Dinner Club. Karen enters an affluent social circle in Bergen, but a fatal villa fire exposes suspicion, deception and competing versions of the truth inside the group. Loes Haverkort, Remko Vrijdag, Noortje Herlaar, Edwin Jonker, Rifka Lodeizen, Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen, Charlie-Chan Dagelet and Teun Luijkx lead the ensemble. Dorien Goertzen created and wrote the adaptation with co-writer Jop Esmeijer; Dana Nechushtan and Margien Rogaar direct, and Fiction Valley produces. All seven episodes became available on Netflix on September 10, 2026. Netflix’s United States title page lists a TV-MA rating and runtimes from 47 to 62 minutes. No second season or renewal timetable has been announced in the official material checked at launch.
