The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey is a Netflix limited drama starring Melissa McCarthy as Patsy Ramsey and Clive Owen as John Ramsey. Emily Mitchell plays JonBenét, with Angus Caldwell as Burke Ramsey and an ensemble portraying investigators, officials and people connected to the case. Richard LaGravenese serves as showrunner and executive producer. Harrison Query and Tommy Wallach co-wrote the series and also executive produce. Netflix says the story is told from several perspectives and examines the family’s grief, public speculation and the national attention around the case. The series premieres worldwide on Netflix on December 10, 2026. Netflix had not announced an episode count, runtimes, age rating or trailer when the release date and first look were published on September 15.
