The Kane Chronicles

The Kane Chronicles is a live-action television project in development at Disney+ and 20th Television. It follows estranged siblings Carter and Sadie Kane, who must master inherited Egyptian magic, build new alliances, and rescue their father after he unleashes a god of chaos. Angela Robinson and Rick Riordan are attached to write and executive produce. Rebecca Riordan is a non-writing executive producer, with Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell executive producing for the Gotham Group. Disney commissioned sample scripts over the year before the project was reported in September 2026. The company has not given it a green light or series order. No cast, director, production schedule, episode count, release date, trailer, or season-to-book structure has been announced.
