Devrim Lingnau Islamoğlu plays Elisabeth and Philip Froissant plays Emperor Franz. Their marriage is tested by court pressure and war. Melika Foroutan is also in the cast. Two seasons are available on Netflix. The third and final season is due on November 12, 2026, worldwide. After the war, Franz returns traumatized. Elisabeth faces his infidelity, resistance at court, and her own health problems. Her journey away from Vienna brings her into contact with Count Andrássy, played by Dejan Bućin.
