The Arena (L’Arène in France) is a French MMA competition series from Netflix. Its field consists of 38 amateur fighters, split evenly between 19 women and 19 men. They enter a shared fight camp and face physical and mental challenges as well as bouts in the cage. The series names Ciryl Gane, Cédric Doumbè and Benoît Saint Denis as the three French MMA stars overseeing the competition. The stated reward is €100,000 and a contract with a professional league. Netflix France lists September 30, 2026, as the series’ launch date. The series is currently available on Netflix in the U.S., but its U.S. release date has not been confirmed. The U.S. title page gives it a TV-MA rating. Netflix has not named the professional league.
