The Amazing Race is CBS’s reality competition in which teams of two travel around the world, navigating unfamiliar places and completing physical and mental challenges as they race toward the finish. Phil Keoghan hosts. The series premiered September 5, 2001, and Season 39 begins September 30, 2026. Season 39 sends 13 teams across five continents, nine countries and 13 cities over more than 25,000 miles. For the first time in the series, every team receives an Express Pass at the starting line; each must use it by the end of Leg 6. Season 39 includes pro-athlete teammates Ali Krieger and Joanna Lohman, plus Daisha Wilks and Dalton Hamby. In the United States, Season 39 airs on CBS. Paramount+ Premium subscribers can stream episodes live with their local CBS feed; any Paramount+ plan can stream each episode on demand the day after broadcast. This season’s premiere airs September 30 and October 1, 2026; its regular Wednesday time slot begins October 7. CBS classifies the series TV-PG in the United States.
