Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is a FOX reality competition that places public figures in exercises modeled on aspects of military selection. There are no audience votes or standard weekly eliminations. Recruits can leave by choice, fail a task, be injured or be removed by the directing staff. The fifth season moves the training to Malaysia’s jungle and premieres September 24, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX, with next-day streaming on Hulu. Season 5 has 15 recruits: Matt Barnes, Alycia Baumgardner, Candace Cameron Bure, David Charvet, Brandi Glanville, Collin Gosselin, Oliver Hudson, LeSean McCoy, Maxim Naumov, Ruby Rose, George Santos, Hannah Stocking, Bre Tiesi, Alexia Umansky and Mauricio Umansky. The lineup spans acting, sport, politics and reality television. Santos appears in a pre-premiere preview struggling to climb from the water onto a wooden raft while Hudson helps him. The clip does not disclose how long either participant remains in the competition. The directing staff consists of Rudy Reyes, Billy Billingham, Jason Fox and Jovon Quarles. FOX has described a bunker search, a supply retrieval while suspended 300 feet above the jungle and an exercise with chemical gas among the new tasks. Minnow Films produces the series.
