Slow Horses

Slow Horses follows a team of British intelligence agents banished to Slough House after serious mistakes at MI5. Their boss, Jackson Lamb, is clever, abrasive and rarely interested in making the service look good. The group still becomes entangled in dangerous cases that reach beyond the office meant to keep them out of the way. Gary Oldman plays Lamb, with Jack Lowden as River Cartwright and Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner. Season 6 premiered on Apple TV on September 16, 2026. Apple has scheduled six episodes, one per week through October 21. The new story puts the Slow Horses on the run as Taverner draws them into a game of retaliation and revenge. Olivia Cooke returns as Sidonie “Sid” Baker, an agent believed dead after the first season, alongside members of the established ensemble and newcomer Lenny Rush. The series is adapted from Mick Herron’s Slough House novels. Season 6 draws on Joe Country and Slough House. Five earlier seasons are also available on Apple TV.
