Félix Sabroso’s Spanish HBO Original follows interconnected women driven to fury by social pressure and public humiliation.
Furia, titled Rage in English-language HBO materials, is a Spanish HBO Original series created and directed by Félix Sabroso and produced by Producciones Mandarina. The first season premiered July 11, 2025, with eight half-hour episodes and an ensemble led by Carmen Machi, Candela Peña, Cecilia Roth, Nathalie Poza and Pilar Castro. Their separate crises intersect in a darkly comic shared world. Furia Parte 2 returns October 9, 2026 in the announced HBO Max markets with another eight episodes of roughly 30 minutes. The new ensemble includes Maribel Verdú, Carmen Maura, María León, Cecilia Suárez, Ana Mena and Clara Sans, with Claudia Salas and Ana Torrent returning. Season 2 explores how women respond to a culture that turns everything into a marketable spectacle. Sabroso co-writes with Juan Flahn and co-directs with Jau Fornés. A presentation is scheduled for the San Sebastián festival on September 21. The Portugal and Spain announcements do not specify a separate US Season 2 premiere; viewers should verify local catalog availability.
